Tunda Consulting
Tunda Consulting is a digital strategy and consulting firm based in Kenya. I led the design and development of their company website, focusing on performance, clarity, and brand alignment. Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, the site is fully responsive and optimized for fast loading. I integrated a headless CMS (Sanity.io) to enable dynamic content updates and implemented smooth page transitions using Framer Motion. My work also included setting up custom SEO metadata and refining the UI/UX to reflect Tunda’s modern, solutions-driven identity.
MONOS App
Engineered and launched core educational modules within MONOS App, a comprehensive Islamic learning platform. Built self-guided learning flows with interactive components for personalized Quran lessons, content delivery systems, and user progress tracking driving premium user engagement and supporting long-term retention.
UoNAfyaApp360°
Worked across the full development lifecycle of a comprehensive mobile health platform built with Flutter to enhance patient engagement and healthcare access. The app included features like real-time medication tracking, secure health data management, and community support tools. Contributed to GraphQL integration for efficient data fetching, implemented Firebase for real-time synchronization, and supported user engagement analytics to improve retention and experience.
Uzazi Salama
I contributed to developing digital solutions for Uzazi Salama, a maternal and child health initiative aimed at improving healthcare access in underserved Kenyan counties. I helped build components that support better maternal health outcomes by digitizing health records, tracking maternal health indicators, and facilitating communication between healthcare providers and expectant mothers.
Be.Well
Helped build Be.Well, a comprehensive health insurance management platform that simplifies healthcare access for users across Kenya. Developed cross-platform features in Flutter to support purchasing insurance, managing coverage, and accessing services in real time. Integrated multiple insurance providers and healthcare networks to deliver up-to-date benefit balances and provider directories.
Efficient Homes Energy Advisors (EHEA ECO)
Developed key frontend features for EHEA ECO, an interactive sustainability platform supporting ecological initiatives across UK households. Leveraged Next.js to build responsive, high-performance components that enhanced user engagement and met accessibility standards. Integrated a headless CMS (Sanity.io) for dynamic content management, implemented Framer Motion for animation, and established a scalable design system using Tailwind CSS.
Halal Directory
Spearheaded the frontend design and development of a global Halal business directory platform, delivering a fully responsive and user-friendly interface. Conducted user research, translated insights into Figma wireframes, and implemented the frontend with Next.js and TypeScript. Collaborated with backend engineers on system architecture, contributing to business verification flows and integrating Elasticsearch for advanced search capabilities.
MONOS Mankind
Led the end-to-end development of a digital campaign platform supporting global humanitarian efforts in poverty alleviation, food security, education, and emergency response. Architected the system to support multiple campaign types and international user bases, implementing secure donation flows, campaign management tools, and real-time impact tracking features.
NutriMate
I developed NutriMate, an intelligent nutrition chat system that leverages Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to deliver personalized dietary guidance. The system combines a comprehensive nutrition knowledge base with advanced natural language processing to provide tailored recommendations based on users' health profiles, dietary preferences, and wellness goals.
Vitu Kwa Ground
I contributed to developing this civic engagement platform that connects citizens, community organizations, and local government through interactive reporting and data visualization. The platform enables community members to report issues, track progress, and engage with local authorities through real-time analytics and communication tools.
